We've been hearing that electric vehicles are the future of mobility for quite a while now. And yes, there's no denying that but what a supercar manufacturer has to do with this? Well I guess this supercar, Terzo Millennio is the answer to the question the future has given to Lamborghini. And surprisingly it doesn't use power from batteries like every other EV. Starting to wonder, well hop in to know every known detail till now.

So, what is with this new Lamborghini Terzo Millennio(third millennium) and what is the truth about this car that nobody knew until today.
For starters, what does this car manufacturer, providing us with decades of unparalleled Sports and Hypercars, SUVs and MUVs and their amazing work in Combustion Engines has to do with a Fully Electric car?...and what made him so desperate to approach the “MIT” to add a couple of kinks to their Ride.

Well, here’s the ice breaker.
Until today, we neither knew what were the specifications of this beast going to be nor it appeared in any auto expo to make itself known and as far as we know, this car was not dated to be unveiled in any kind of Auto-show in the near future.

So, let’s get into the details that we have known so far or some of you may not know about. Well, there are five main things that were known to us...
This car is not a production car but is more of a rolling testbed for future technologies. yes, you heard me right, no matter how desperate you are, you can't get your own fully-fledged, production-based Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. The production team has mentioned that this is more of a future electric sports cars.
Though many electric cars are known to use batteries for power input and output, the new electric Lamborghini does not use batteries. Instead it uses supercapacitors for high input and discharge of energy. The production team has said it can not hold higher powers for longer periods of time, they are still working on the power holding capacities and this has also caused them to use carbon fiber body panels.
Terzo Millennio is claimed to be a car that can fix itself, well, as the company says. The self-healing trait of the Lamborghini that the dealer wants to induce into the Terzo Millennio is the very reason for them to approach the MIT R&D division. With the given carbon fiber body and supercapacitors the car can heal itself with a little change in the super capacitor energy flow. They claim that this new Lambo has autonomous capabilities but not for commuting purposes.
It is said that the car can act as a Digital Coach which can teach it’s owner on a pitch-perfect lap on a racetrack and then coach him or her on how to do it themselves using a video game-like ghost car.
And last but not least, as I’ve mentioned in the synopsis, this car may never show up on any auto shows and the debut this car has ever made, is the MIT in-house Mtech conference and is not gonna appear on the roads, at least let’s hope otherwise in the near future.

And here’s a bonus fact for you about the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. These car tire rims are made in such a way to represent the coils that are used in a supercapacitor and those rims glow as the car accelerates.
