APPLE MAGIC KEYBOARD

iPads are known for their absolutely brilliant performance, awesome display and they are pretty much popular with every user. And Apple’s trying to transform their iPad to a computer for a while now. It has a very good OS but every tablet misses the most important thing about being a computer, a keyboard.

And is this Magic Keyboard capable of doing that? Well, here’s what we think.

It’s a well-made, beautiful keyboard case that’s nice to type on and makes lots of work on the iPad much more convenient — or at least familiar. This keyboard is a highly expensive accessory that comes at $299 for iPad pro 11-inch model and $349 for the 12.9-inch version.

KEY FEATURES:

Comfortable typing:

Full‑size, backlit keys and a scissor mechanism with 1 mm travel for quiet responsive typing.

Built‑in trackpad:

Designed for Multi‑Touch gestures and the cursor in iPad OS.

Floating cantilever design:

Smooth angle adjustability delivers the perfect viewing angle.

Front and back protection:

Folds into a case to provide front and back protection for travelling with

iPad Pro.

This keyboard has magnets that let the iPad attach to it and you can adjust that for upto 130 degrees. That’s not much but it’s good for everyday readers and for watching movies. And yes this has a trackpad built-in and that’s really good guys.

The trackpad is very responsive and surprisingly the iPad floats……wait, what? Yes, that’s right it floats. The keys are also backlit. They adjust automatically based on ambient lighting conditions. The sound while typing is soothing compared to other models of keyboards and offers better protection if in case it has fallen unless you are so brave to drop a $299 + $799 combo.

The Magic Keyboard is built like a tank. That is both a blessing and a curse, however. There is nearly zero flex to the keyboard deck. The whole thing is stable on your lap and very well-balanced. It’s not tippy at all. That’s a very heavy case for an iPad and some say it’s even heavier than the newest model of MacBook air. And it’s thicker than 13-inch MacBook pro when closed. The mouse support is still an issue in some of the apps but everything’s going to be alright in upcoming days.

And it all comes to this does it really transform a tablet into a computer. And the answer is yes for most of the people who just use the computer for checking emails, reading, and sort of stuff I mean it’s better than those smart folio keyboards apple provide.

And no for all those people who use the computer for content creating and video editing and for people who push the computer to its limits.

So, this is the final answer this magic keyboard makes it a better iPad and so close to a computer.
